With over half a century of manufacturing top quality leather shoes and bags, Fratelli Rossetti have built up an impressive following of loyal clientele who would never be caught wearing anything less… and with easy access to their boutique store within Milan’s prime shopping district, strategically positioned on the corner of Via Montenapoleone and Corso Giacomo Matteotti, shoppers are welcomed inside to feast their eyes and indulge in some retail therapy.
Almost 60 years on since the brand was first established by Renzo Rossetti in 1953, the firm was handed down to his sons: Diego, Dario and Luca in 2003. The Rossetti brothers have lead the company into the future and continue to fuse class and style into their products at their factory and headquarters in Parabiago, near Milan. Cute, yet sophisticated ballerina pumps, boots and reinventions of classic ladies and men’s shoes grace their store shelves coupled with bags that are timeless and chic.
These are some of my favourites from their current collection: The pretty ballerina pump made from Bordeaux velvet is sweet, quaint and conjures up thoughts of roses and romance. With a sturdy shape and structure, this calfskin bag with its vibrant, energizing shade of clay-orange is the ideal accessory. The chestnut men’s boot is interesting and unconventional, made from calfskin, the dyed vintage effect gives it added character. And then, as a lover of animal prints and sensual fabrics that are comforting to touch, It’s only natural that I would adore these mahogany boots. They’re sexy, a little wild and perfect for women who have a feline disposition…
