Here come the brides in Pronovias gowns for 2014

A woman can never look more beautiful and radiant than she does on her wedding day and if she’s wearing a designer gown from Pronovias, I’d say she’s nailed being labelled a memorable vision 100%. I discovered the Pronovias brand of designer wedding dresses on my 2011 trip to Spain and not too long after, the Spanish company had Joburg women on their knees in thanks because the spectacular boutique in Sandton’s Michelangelo Towers had unlocked its doors.

By now, you should have already sifted through the spilling range, swooning over romantic lace gowns and beaded beauties in crisp white, ivory and cream, and you will know that the price tag is pretty steep for the average cash-strapped young bride, but as I discovered today after a seriously pathetic experience with a local ‘fashion designer’, if you want to be a captivating queen on your big day, start doing the math and convert your Rands into Euros because real quality and a great fit do not come cheap.

So girls, if your king has popped the question and the engagement is set for some time next year, you’ve got enough time to build a sizeable dress fund and take your pic from their 2014 collection of stunning bridal wear presented today in Barcelona. I have only posted runway pics of my personal favourites – flowing princess gowns. I just don’t believe that a bride should wear a leg-exposing dress unless the ceremony is on the beachfront…
