Besides, the Braccialini monobrand store on Milan’s Corso Venezia, there was only one other shop where I managed to find one of my favourite brands of art bags. I strolled along Corso di Porta Romana to reach the Marigo store which I first came across in July and once again, I was so amused by the window display which paired up each glorious art bag with clothing and shoes that matched perfectly.
These bags, from Braccialini’s winter collection, have been created from a palette of versatile dark shades. Black, brown and taupe feature strongly in keeping with the cold season’s trends but it was the warm chocolate brown ‘passport’ bag with multi-colour passport stamps in the Marigo window that appealed to me because it symbolises my love for travel. The black studded ‘Veronica‘ bag is another one of my firm favourites. The gold studs embellish the bag tastefully making it glamourous and glitzy but not over-the-top.
